The main house (The Velvet Olive )consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge with fireplace, kitchen/dining area with wood stove, fitted with electric stove, microwave and fridge. (Sleep 8 persons)
The cottage (De Oude Waenhuys) is located on the same property. This beautifully restored cottage consists of an open plan bedroom/lounge with fireplace. The room also has a kitchen and bath with separate toilet. This is perfect for a small family or for a couple. (Sleeps 2).

Enjoy the starry nightsky at night around a cozy fire or if you prefer not to make your own food – just pop out to the restaurant next door and enjoy true Karoo hospitality and karoo farm style dishes at BOORGAT RESTAURANT.

Coming along the N1 from Cape Town, take the R354 from Matjiesfontein inland to Sutherland. Once into Sutherland at the first fourway stop turn right into Kerk St and then first left into Jubilee St.
