Sutherland House offers a unique experience in one of the coldest towns in South Africa. This self-catering stone-home is not only full of character, but also equipped with all your self-catering needs and located centrally so that you can enjoy Sutherland as a town.
Stay warm with the lovely fire place during Sutherland’s coldest winters, or cuddle next to the warm wooden stove. The inside braai area in the open plan kitchen/living room is also ideal for cozy get togethers. For warm summer evenings there is also an outside braai – so you can enjoy the lovely starry nights in Sutherland.
Sutherland House is a large stone house, decorated in a Victorian fashion and situated in one of the oldest streets in Sutherland, Jubilee Street. Its look and feel is that of an old-fashioned farm house, but comes with the luxury of electricity, a fully equipped kitchen as well as a television with Satelite (bring your own decoder).
This beautiful home has three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people.
It also has a fireplace to keep you warm in winter, as well as an inside and outside braai.
Just in case, heaters and electrical blankets are also provided. For enjoying meals, there is a large dining room with relaxation aids on offer, like books and games.
