Sutherland Guest House is situated opposite the Louw-House Museum in one of the oldest streets in Sutherland, Jubilee Street. The Guest House is a quaint Karoo-style stone building, ensuring a relaxed and homely atmosphere, with a long passage and a communal living room with a fireplace. The house has a big, old-fashioned stoep, from where visitors can enjoy the beautiful sunsets in Sutherland! The unit sleeps up to ten people and the entire house can be booked for group accommodation. *Group bookings may be discounted.
In total the house offers four rooms:
– One room is en-suite with a full bathroom (bath and shower)
– The second room has a double bed with a bathroom
– The third room has a double bed, a bathroom and two single beds (bunk-beds)
– The house also offers a self-catering unit adjacent to the room above, which makes it ideal for a family of six.
The self-catering unit has a lounge area with a TV and kitchenette. Microwave, fridge and two plate stove are also provided.
